  • Java-bytecode target  added to the Free Pascal compiler.

    A new target has been added to Free Pascal compiler. It is now possible to compile applications to Java bytecode. This means that these Free Pascal applications can run in a Java Virtual Machine (JVM), so that it can run on any platform that has Java support.

    After the success from last year, the Dutch Pascal Users Group organizes the second Dutch Pascal Conference on June 18th. Last year it was mainly focused on Lazarus, this year there will also be some topics about Delphi. 

  • Free Pascal 2.4.4 released.

    Version 2.4.4 of the Free Pascal compiler has been released by the Free Pascal team. 2.4.4 is the second and probably last fixes release from the 2.4 series.

  • Lazarus version 0.9.30 released.

    The Lazarus team released a new version of their IDE for Free Pascal. Version 0.9.30 is the next release and a new step towards the 1.0 release.

    The Free Pascal team released a new version of their compiler. Version 2.4.2 is the first fixes-release after version 2.4.0.

    The first national Dutch Lazarus day was a great success. More then 70 participants followed the sessions about Lazarus, developing for Windows Mobile and the Lazarus controller. Also some of the Lazarus and Free Pascal developers from Germany, The Netherlands, Brazil and Croatia were present

    Today CNOC launched the new Lazarus support website. The goal of the site is to support the development and promote the usage of the the Lazarus software development studio.
